Demographic, Geographic and Political Data Analysis

• Perform member and staff requests/projects involving geographic, political and policy data
• Legislative and public data analysis and presentation requests
• Create and maintain mapping and mapping data of all jurisdictions under legislative authority
• Legislative designee for state review and collection political geography and data
• Liaison with Louisiana Secretary of State on joint review of political geography changes
• Review jurisdiction submissions for compliance with state statute
• Update baseline state political geography to align with state and federal election cycle
• Ongoing program of submission of Louisiana jurisdiction data to the US Census Bureau

Redistricting Analysis

• Create and maintain legislative database for utilization in decennial redistricting
• Craft member requested redistricting plans for jurisdictions under legislative authority
• Analyze redistricting plans for compliance with state and federal law
• Racial Block Voting Analysis
• Election Data Analysis

Governmental Relations

• Maintain Legislative communication and relationships with other governmental entities 
• Legislative Liaison to Census Bureau’s Redistricting Data Program
• Presentations and Public speaking engagements to governmental entities
• Engage with public and private sector individuals and groups to facilitate decision making
